Built as a bach for a client who lived in Dunedin and travelled often to Clyde for breaks away, the design of this house was strongly influenced by old-era baches. The main bedroom is separate from the other bedroom wing, with the living and kitchen area between the two. It is clad in stacked block with NZ cedar weatherboards and cedar ply fins.

This home was designed to be a show-home for the subdivision developer. The client wanted an ‘old world Clyde’ feel for the property, so it was built using cement-stabilised mud bricks, bevel-backed weatherboards and Macrocarpa posts and beams. Inside there were splashes of tongue and groove doors and ceilings with a mud brick internal fireplace.

A pavilion styled three-bedroomed family home with raking north facing glass and a raking ceiling to the living area. Cladding was solid plaster, cedar weatherboards and cedar fascias to achieve a ‘Central Otago’ look.

A large north-facing family home, designed on a restricted budget, this house has an ‘architectural’ look with large open-plan living areas, north-facing master bedroom and two separate decked areas for both morning and afternoon sun. The house features large living and dining areas, ideal for clients who like to entertain.

Designed as a show-home for our construction company, this house features three separate pavilions with a grand entrance way. With floor to ceiling north-facing glass and clad in cedar weatherboard and shadow-clad, internally it has raking skillion ceilings and a stacked block fireplace. Its fit-out includes a designer kitchen and fully tiled bathrooms. Outside, the property features an entertainer’s kitchen in the spa area with large wrap hardwood decks.
